Jacob's bell update

Jacob's Mom is hard at it and has finished one bell so I updated the slide show....looking good...

Prissy...on point

Here is Prissy, the ballerina , a new Squiggee frog....on point( that is what ballerinas say when they are up and on their toes)...my husband calls her Madame La TU TU....I made the tutu out of fine netting...this is what the finisher will do after she is worked and stuffed...attach her tutu.....she is just so silly , like all the frogs in Squiggeeland...there is something about a tutu that makes me laugh...

New Squiggee Frog

This little frog is the newest addition to Squiggeeland....complete with polka-dot gardening gloves and those rubbery gardening shoes...silly but fun...Tulip, will join her pals and be seen at the St. Louis TNNA show.......

50th Anniversary Wreath

The Acorn and The Tree....

Today being my 59th Birthday, always makes me take stock and I always think of my Dad.
I lost him way too early. I was a little shy of five years old. He was a big six foot five Irishmen,
born in Brooklyn New York in 1922. He was a charmer by all accounts, with a smile that could melt your heart and a laugh that would fill the room. I remember thinking he was was the most amazing Dad, and when he picked me up , it always felt like I was flying up towards the clouds.
Growing up, my mother always said , she could close her eyes and hear his voice when I talked and laughed, I had his personality , movements and laugh. I have always been a happy person and have a love of people and laugh all the time. I enjoy life on the whole and am a person that sees the glass half full ,always.....I also have his Irish temper, swift to flare , but over in a flash.
This is one of my most precious items..this wonderful photo of my Dad and I . Today , I think of how lucky I was to inherit such great charter quirks from this wonderful man, that I still miss and carry in my heart .....

Just for Jacob !!!

I just thought I would share , the process of turning a child's ideas for Christmas bells into the painted canvas.....the trick is not to lose sight of the Child's basic idea...it was such fun...and I hope Jacob enjoys the finished product....

A Custom Frame for Baby

This is a custom frame I designed using fabric samples used in the new nursery. What a thoughtful and very personal gift for the new baby....it has a 4 x 6 opening and is painted on 13st, so it should speed along...it is always fun to be part of such a special gift, that a customer has put so much thought into.....very personal

A little bit of Good luck

This is one of matching pillows I just painted for a customer....the most important element is the Elephant's trunk must be turned up...for good luck....the pillows are 16 x 12" on 13st....
