Granny's series

This is a great way for a grandmother to start a family tradition.....I have done three
for the families new arrivals so far....how great, for a child to have his name the center
of attention, and how it relates to the world around him ... also, the first word you learn to read and write...... children love to see their name in print....over and over and over again....what a very cleaver granny !

Charles and Holly are lucky kids. That's one smart grandmother!

That is wonderful! This Granny, however, has too many of them now. What I am enjoying doing - and have done for other Grannies, is needlepoint versions of their artwork - especially before they learn to turn the "J" or "D" the correct way or make the "e" with only three prongs instead of five.. Madeline's used to be spelled "Mabeline" - I loved it.
