A Birthday gift

There is always a special type of custom design that I do enjoy.....when a group of friends get together and order a canvas or in this case a very pretty feminine tote bag for a dear friend to celebrate her birthday...sometimes the friends work the canvas and have it a finished piece as the gift, but others give the canvas to a friend, that also loves working needlepoint and gets as much pleasure out of working the canvas as she does getting the gift...so it sort of fills to very special purposes....the above design is just such a project...a group of her friends decided to surprise their dear friend with a birthday tote....a one of a kind, designed especially to suit the woman's favorite colors and her love of flowers and everything very soft...
this is such a gift from the heart and I am always pleased to be a part of the gift....and I love the idea of a surprise...
