Too much fun...

It is hard to tell from the photo , but I used every single sparkle type of fiber to make this little crab just glow..along with a rich assortment of purples.....you only get maybe a third of the sparkle in beads and fibers..in person.... he is just way too much...lol...gawdy..but then he is a Squiggee jeweled crab...no need to hide his light under a barrel......it is certainly interesting using some of the new fibers out there..knew to an old dinosaur like me...It is a little hard to think of just having wool to work with...the side of me that likes sparkle ,is definitely attracted to the metallic....Caron Snow still rocks with me...my favorite...wish they had more colors..how said is that from a person that until recently had never touched a new fiber...I still hate working on 18st.....13st is my thing, no doubt about that.....18st makes me mean....lol.....thank goodness that is not the same when painting canvas.....lol
