For the first time in my life I feel all at sea...i have had bits and pieces of this feeling at different times in my life but , since I left the East coast I feel my umbilical cord has snapped sending me into hyper space...the dogs still insist on having dinner at on east coast time so everyday at four Omar and the Squig tell me it is six east coast time and they are hungry.......our internal clock is still running on East Coast time, and with all the new water , thin air and dry climate our bodies are trying to adjust, but it is hard...maybe if we were in our twenties it wouldn't take much, but we are in our sixties and it takes more effort....the studio is up and running but I needed more stuff brought in from the storage holding center...aka...where we have all our shit ....so it has gone through multiple rearranging....for an artist this is hard...my light and surroundings have changed and I feel all at 6 and 7's...don't ask me what that means because i have only heard the saying and it seemed to fit......the air is so thin...you find yourself zooming around one minute then exhausted the next...... the dryness makes you drink gallons of water all day long to get rid of your cotton mouth...then up frequently all night having to go to the ladies room...lol....and just when you think you are adjusting...you run out of gas and have to go to bed at 7:30....or is that 9:30...who knows...I haven't gone to bed that early since i was six....anyway...it has been two and a half weeks since we arrived and the tast of moving a business and household is proving more complicated than we thought....but we are seeing progress....one new and surprising thing , Ken has discovered Target and has fallen in love with the store........we have never had access to a Target before and Ken , feels he has discovered the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.....the store has everything and is spotless and just minutes from us........
so I will try to be better about blog entries...and some pictures...the dust is settling, but I also have the big TNNA show in Jan . looming....crap ...another thing to take care of....yikes i might need a nap....old..... very old the way the air makes you feel...but to be fair we have been on the constant move for weeks....
more later....

Do you have a Target or a Super Target? Targe is a happy place, Super Target is the happiest place on earth.
Believe me, your body will adjust to the altitude and the time change. Unfortunately (or fortunately) you will be drinking gallons of water forever more. Good for the body and complexion. Chaptick and body lotion work wonders for everything else that is dry. :-)
LOL I can't believe you've survived without a TARGET. In Austin, we pronouce it "TAR-JAY'" It's quite a delightful place to shop or just browse. I think when you get adjusted you'll love where you are - it's so very beautiful and will inspire creativity.
