I hate January !

Between the interruption of the big TNNA show, and the changes that the new year always brings...and people, in general, being a little out of sorts....January is never a great month...Being in limbo is what it always feels like...no holiday to look forward to...and ,in general ,all the shops are kind of regrouping and taking inventory.....of course this is a great time to catch up, but I am always antsy and a little distracted myself....and this is especially so this year...we here in Squiggeeland have been on a non stop full tilt bender to get both lines in place and no matter what, there are always lose ends.....I hate lose ends ....one very different and positive thing is the weather here...the sun helps although we have had an unusual cold winter...cold for AZ...not the kind of cold we are used to in rural PA....the birds here, especially the quail, are running amuck...chirping and zooming in and out of these strange Cyprus trees...all having a helter skelter look in their eye...I am not sure what is up.......and we have this deranged woodpecker that likes to get on top of one of our metal storage sheds out back and make the most awful rata tat tat noise while trying to bore a hole in the shed...the stupid bird.It is metal and not wood...they do this to the huge cactus also....nature running wild...the neighbors have reported seeing large families of the wild pigs..mother father and several children roaming looking for a home...one of their favorite places is under the houses here so you have to make sure that they can't make themselves a home...they are cootie...wild, mean and smelly...

so, like a breathe of fresh air, in pops a wonderful model from Saundra...the BOO gingerbread cookie...she is a marvel like all our Squiggers that do stitching for us....Mr. Squiggee has his companion , Gingersnap...a witch gingerbread cookie...I know getting a little too snarky with the names......I just need January to end......

Many stitchers need to start for next Christmas ...but this won't occur to them till late Spring early Summer.......someone tell a joke...lol
