A Matter of Taste !

OK people...do you ever get those ultra strange catalogs, you know the ones that are loaded with ads that say...AS SEEN ON TV!!! you know the ads that are run at 4:00 am for people that can't sleep, or vampires....Remember Mad Magazine...well these catalogs are just as funny and free...even better...on one page you can buy a Resin Owl loaded with an internal motion detector ....... his eyes light up and he hoots when anything passes by..WHY ???? how irritating would that get...I could just see Mr. Squiggee with a steak knife headed it's way after a half hour of hooting off and on........please....then there are all the very strange sex toys, enhancers and pills.... one pill listed as safe for a man with high blood pressure and or diabetes...safer than viagra !!!!! you would have to be absolutely crazy to take anything like that pill...much less rub cream that boasts to make your saggy boobies, firm and two sizes larger...emergency room here I come...with a side trip to the psycho ward..
now for main event...while enjoying sausages and coffee this morning Mr. Squiggee and I picked our favorites....
my favorite for bad taste is the glow in the dark cross...on one hand it is butt ugly...but the main point is it boasts using solar energy, but is made of resin, that takes oil right !...not exactly earth friendly...
another point ..do you have to visit your loved ones gravesite at night to make sure it's working...unless your loved one is in the backyard....the whole exercise is creepy...
Now for those who think I have made this up or that the magazine is some underground publication that comes via a plain brown wrapper...well. no...these ads are in such magazines as Dr. Leonard, Carol Wright and Walter Drake...and more...so check out your junk mail before tossing...that and a cocktail could be your ticket to a fun time.....
Mr. Squiggee has his favorite ad on his blog....so check it out...
we laughed so hard this morning that the dogs thought we had gone crazy and stepped back...
