LOONEY !

Got your attention, didn't I ????? no I am not referring to Mr. Squiggee, although he has his loon moments....It has been hotter than hell...sorry but it has been !!!!!!....and the big 30 feet tall cactus have been dropping these pods/buds/half gooey fruit things that are all over the yard and you have to be careful picking them up because they stain your hand with red goooooooooooo....they stink like rotting fruit...special, mixed with the 106 degree no humidity heat...you know what Hell would smell like...
so, to stay inside and paint is almost a relief.....the above loon is for a chair seat on 13st and the design is 14 in. sq.with the loon in the center 8"sq....the shop sent me a photo of a plate with this loon and this is what I came up with...the upside of 13 st. brown is you don't have to paint the
background...but you have to make sure that you make the colors a little lighter to see...the brown canvas takes paint differently and the whole purpose of me painting it is for the customer to have no problem seeing the definition of colors...they can alway soften the piece by their choice of fiber colors...
today I paint a big fish on 10st...I love 10st....it makes a really bold piece of needlepoint and works up fast and is so eye friendly....a forgotten canvas...
so off I go...I have paper work to do this morning...boring...and the dryer is waiting for a new fan belt...so I guess i will have to use the dog towel....It is amazing how something as simple as a dryer out of commission for a couple of days can be a bugger....yesterday we had all my panties drying around the house...classic ...lol....I refussed to have them dry on the back fence...that is tacky...lol...
