Blue Ribbon Winner !

The above canvas is a custom piece I painted for a shop called the 3 Kittens Needle Arts in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. I have been doing custom work for them for the last 4 years or so and I have designed a  composite piece of this type  that is presented to the  outgoing President of the Junior League of St. Paul each year , by the League. The canvas marks all the important parts of the President's life, children, career, hobbies,schools anniversaries  and so on. This is the first of four  I have done for the St. Paul Junior League to present. I just finished one and I find them interesting, plenty to work with and a challenge to make  all the elements work.
It is always a treat to see a finished project and of course a Blue Ribbon is an extra bonus...congratulations to the stitcher Judy for bringing this canvas to life !

 about the  3 Kittens shop.... working with Julie Mast ,that handles all the needlepoint custom orders, has been a pleasure. She is organized , detail orientated and makes my job easy. She and I both believe in customer service and that is essential to keep custom customers coming back for more.
