Squiggeeland updated

I guess I can't complain at what a big success and how well received the Squiggee on line catalog has been...but since I add things all the time and the pages are set so to speak...then new pages with the most recent additions to the catalog add up and I think people will enjoy the index page I have added to cut down on you having to view the whole catalog when you are in pursuit of a Bitchy frog or Christmas ornament....but like all good deeds, that never go unpunished, sometimes the computer takes exception to you making changes and it gets what I call a bugger in the works...a cyber hick-up...or f-rt !....
So after driving myself crazy last night...I called yahoo this morning and got some professional advice...lol...although I do all the work on the website , it only goes along as long as nothing strange appears....so I had to redo the whole homepage in order to get rid of whatever cootie was lurking....anyway all is smooth now and I have given it a little make-over....
but the main reason for all the commotion is the index....
as we add more designs ,this too will be updated....
after all this I could use a cocktail...meaning a Mickey-Dee's iced tea..not sweet but extra slice of lemon...sometimes I crave this so much it scares me...will Betty Fords be far off...ummmmmmmm...I wonder....well at least it isn't cocaine or crack
I guess it would be considered the drug for really dull old people....OMG...that is so me these days...
all I do is work...no torrid love affairs , Mr. Squiggee keeps an eye on me, and besides...the only man that would consider me hot stuff, would have to really old these days...my target group keeps aging....husbands don't count...they are trapped and getting old themselves....but then that never matters if you are a man...they are hot and a catch as long as they have a pulse...lol

The Squiggee & gcHendrix Catalogs

I just thought that you bloggers might like a sneak peak at the catalogs we send to shops.....these catalogs have been very well received by shops and in turn their customers.. You all have heard of "stitch and bitch" Well how about a browse and bitch session with a squiggee catalog in your lap?..the catalogs are hard bound notebooks that are easily updated and added too...there is also a section on custom designs ....all the pages are in plastic sleaves ,so sticky fingers are not a problem, and this also makes it easy to change /replace pages and update as new designs become available....our first catalogs were white...but we have been lucky to find this nice bright HOT PINK...Squiggee's signature color...lol
the catalog also has a brief autobiography of me...lol..not as dull as watching paint dry, brief is the prime aim...I do hate artists that go on and on...I have always felt that my work tells you much more about who I am...OMG...Carmen Flamingo...Bitchy Witchy Frog..scary !

the whole catalog is always on view on the website for the public to browse....the catalogs are only available to retail shops. But they are just as much fun to browse through as a Squigge canvas is to work.

Something New...!!!

As another TNNA show approaches...as a designer you have to make sure that you have everything new cataloged and you are on point !!!!
My newest endevoir is to have the Squiggee and gcHendrix wholesale catolog on view...so this morning I put it in slide show form and if you scroll to the bottom of this blog...there she is...all current and updated ....you can see larger images on my website...

We talk to the shops all the time , and with the current economic situation some shops are not attending the big TNNA trade shows....so we here in Squiggeeland thought that having the catalog on view might just help....shops can look as well as customers
all the items have stock numbers making it so easy for customers to have their favorite shop enquire as to the size and price from two sources...Squiggee Designs and our wholesaler ...Crane Cottage...

That is what advice Judy Harper gave me , when she convinced me to start a blog.....I am sure she is in heaven this morning laughing out loud , at the catalog and all the venues it can be viewed... she would remark !..... you go girl...if you don't blow your own horn...shame on you !...lol
I do miss her and being able to share my lastest antics with a fellow needlepoint artist...

UPDATING ALL THE TIME

The glamorous job of having your own company, is not all that creative some days....it is all about keeping your website current and keeping on top of the big picture...if not you.... who ?.....SADLY I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS ALL THE DETAILS .....so the buck stops here...lol...i just got a current price list from my new wholesale distributor and am in the process of making sure my online Squiggee/gch catalog is updated with stock numbers and pictures.....this is my new way of keeping updates viable for everyone...customers and shops alike....I just posted four new pages and more to come.......Squiggee-Buns and Omar helped today...but they need some playtime so I am off to play "mother to my pack !"...lol
Omar sees his new groomer Tuesday...it is a Salon called " THE BARKING BATHTUB"...HOW CUTE IS THAT..
Omar is in desperate need ...I have been keeping him somewhat tidy , but these last two weeks he is starting to look like a junkyard dog ...lol...we will post pictures of before and after "he gets himself correct..."this is one of my favorite lines from the HBO SERIES...The Wire
