I was looking for a picture this morning and found a floppy that said Squiggee custom....
so curious, I took a look and laughed when I found this very funny stocking ,I did for a little boy called Casey...clearly his parents named him because they are baseball fans...not so much the name by itself, but the choice of a Christmas stocking...I always enjoy coming across a design I have no recall of even painting...thank goodness I sign things......don't laugh...if you had been painting canvases for over 35 years...5 to 7 days a week, 8 to 10 hour days... with only little brakes in between ( so I could have a life outside the studio)...you would not recall every canvas you have ever painted, even confronted with a photo sometimes...miles and miles and stacks and stacks.......when I first saw a photo of a TNN wholesale show , of the line ,that the POIADesigns markets , it made me gasp...I will find a photo a show it one day...you too will say yikes ...and then yikes again...
anyway with the World Series coming up, thought the baseball fans would enjoy Santa, in the outfit I designed, if he had a team...boy am I strange sometimes...I can just hear my husband say..."Sometimes lady, oh you, underestimate yourself".......I am only a Queen in the studio...lol

I saw a display recently over an entire wall in a needlepoint shop of the original designs I did before Inge and I started Creative Needle in 1972 - (she has resurrected these for marketing again) My first reaction, besides the sheer number of canvases, was "wow! I used to be good this." About all I do these days is some small ornaments with a lot of beads and silk ribbon.
