Lucky Squiggee to have such talented friends to help with her models....this spanking new model of " Poodle and a Shake" came in the mail from Carole Gatza ...all the way from Louisiana...she is the mother of the fabulous Chloe, the Yorkie...that has many stylish outfits....of all the dogs that I paint in NP, one of the most popular are Yorkie's....I'm not sure why...they are cuties, but maybe because their owners are just obsessed with just how cute they are....
anyway Carole did a simply wonderful job working our model...she has a real flair for Squiggee, I especially love the laces...just the right amount of texture...
when I talked to my finisher today in Maine, and I described the flamingo canvas and she laughed out loud...she gets Squiggee too and was excited about the canvas coming....
now, the wait. It is always well worth it, waiting for for the model to return...like magic, my vision as a designer is complete...oh happy days...
I just mailed a Yorkie out to Rita's in the big apple today...I will share tomorrow....

OMG.. I was able to see the canvas up until the charms and pom-poms were added. Carole did promise a picture of her finished but we both left before she could show me. She did such a great job on her. I stitch with Carole often at our LNS, by the way. Love seeing her stitched can't wait to see her finished. Ronnie
