Most custom baby pillows are just that, ducks, bears...cute little baby things....but this custom piece was different...the customer sent a sample of the material in the nursery, I think a chair and I was to use the monogram of the new baby and match the colors...using all floral..something the baby could have her whole lifetime on display....nice thought....and a pleasure to do...people are always asking if I paint flowers...please I started painting needlepoint in the early 70"s...it was all about flowers...very traditional.....I have painted every flower imaginable in every size on canvas from 45count to 3 1/2 count for a rug...I cut my needlepoint painting teeth on flowers...................
