when all the ANGers were in town...OK...Cynthia is a great stitcher and understands Squiggee...cool....so I said I would consider it...so we started with Cynthia sending me pictures....OH WELL !..not exactly a giggle...a strange building ..not really fun....... I needed more details of the building...I always research things first and then adapt them to needlepoint and with this building I thought I have to add a little fun....... what better than the Texas flag on the bottom...I personally feel that it is one of the more graphic and interesting flags......my researched was aided by a set of building and floor plans a friend supplied......this was a big help and gave me all I needed to proceed...so this is what I came up with in the end...it is 3 inches tall when finished and I can't wait to see the model completed......The Yarn Barn has an exclusive to sell the design for now....I hope all the ANGers feel the need to have one....what a hoot, considering , that before I started this project...the only thing I knew about the Alamo was that John Wayne was in the movie...lol....get real people !!!! I am a Washingtonian and the Alamo is off my radar.......

Remember The Alamo !
Ever so often I get a strange request ..well not strange exactly, but something that would never occur to me to design.....You know, the big ANG Seminar is in Texas this Year..San Antonia, Texas to be exact.......an old Squiggee friend that was a big help when I first started Squiggee, Cynthia Thomas, asked if I could design a little Squiggee house in the form of the Alamo....Cynthia would work the pro to type up and teach a class at the Yarn Barn in San Antonia
