The Complete LOOK!

Now you know that it just wouldn't do, to carry your Fendi , Home Designed & Crafted Needlepoint Bag without the total look....so I found these very HOOT! Couture elements to make your total look just Fab! we already have the perfect shoes, and the name of your favorite foot doctor in reserve...so that is set !!!
First and for most..the right hairdo..something really special that makes people know that you mean business.....and having something that resembles a very blond poodle from space, is a start......with this doo, a hat would be overkill...so no need to give it a second thought...
Next the outfit...this great dress is called the egg dress...simplicity and high fashion all rolled into one... although !!!!! you just might have to carry a little bacon in a zippy bag for those breakfast induced cravings...a small price to pay for being having the courage to make this fashion statement that sets you apart.....and because it is Spring and you never know how the day will play out weather wise...this wonderful yarn ball sweater is a must..... just make sure you stay out of the rain, because it does have a tendency to absorb moisture at a rapid rate....
well now that you have all the basics , it is just a matter of adding the right jewelry to finish the look.....of course, my mother always said that the" Right jewelry" was in the tower of London.........mother too sees the big picture!!!
the earrings are by Marc Jacobs( I am not kidding) called ZIP IT( a Bargain at $58.00)......the necklace is by designers Alica & Olivia, called Safety Pin( a mire $393.00) a little pricey but you will always have a safety pin at hand !!!......the final element is this very must have bracelet by Paige Novik, called Link Cuff( it is $590.00) but you are worth it !!!! I just feel that somewhere , a dog is running loose because this designer stole a vital part of the chain link fence...
Sometimes you feel that life has left you behind with your little circle pin on you very plain sweater...lol......
woman amaze me ...sadly where we live this sort of take a chance fashion will never appear....It is fascinating in the same way that the circus is when they come to town...you just look but would never join and run away with it....
this silliness on my part, has been fueled by the Fendi Needlepoint kit bag, and getting the NEW YORK Sunday times, because the Washington post has lost it's edge , very said....now you could get away with this outfit on Madison Ave. or the next cocktail party on the moon...
it is what separates us from the animals , our ability to accessorize.....and with a sense of humor helps..lol
footnote...the cost of the sweater , the egg dress and the fab hair doooooo is being with held, because it would just make you gasp...or is that gag...i always mix those two up...lol...this was too much fun...if needlepoint ever goes belly up...i could see myself as a personal shopper to the very exotic consumer....it is always good to have a back-up plan...

Just When You Thought It Was Safe to go to NYC !

A friend emailed me this ad and asked If I had seen it......NO !!!! I looked on the web and no information ...so being a Washingtonian , Bethesda Chevy Chase Girl , I called the store....I was connected to a very pleasant young man, that was more than willing to answer some of my questions....Apparently, it was just a one off, and all of the 24 kits for $995.00 , but one was gone...Did I want the last kit ????...Well I said, who was the Needlepoint Expert, ....no name was forth coming, only that she was a young woman in the city and an expert.......all the ladies there at the event in the store , were able to have a consultation with this expert today......you could have your little Kittie's face on your bag ..!!! he remarked.......this expert would work the whole thing for you...What price I said for this expert ????...he responded... that that was between you and the artist.........so you not only have spent $995.00 on this crappy kit with ugly fibers, but now you have some expert that no one can put a name to... maybe she wears a mask and cape....to design your bag and work it...and at a reasonable price...????? do you think !!!...all you have to have is not a lick of sense, and a fat wallet and a husband that won't have you committed....after all the very rich don't actually want to work the needlepoint, just be able to show the finish project and tell their friends.......isn't this defeating the whole purpose of the five needles and three thimbles......seeeeeee my offer to come to my house and I design you a bag was not far off...but naive me, thought that the women would want to work it themselves....after all it is a kit...... if this young woman was truly a world class renowned Needlepoint Expert don't you think Bergies would have advertised her name?????...come on people, reality break...........I did forget to ask if the expert was going to supply different colors of fiber...after all the kit had coddie colors and we wouldn't want your little kitty face not to be perfect........don't get me wrong I like kitties....but Fendi-Kitty bag....is just wrong....but the woman doing this have to have a little cheese coming off their cracker in the first place....you can just picture , an opening night at the Met...just you in you mink designer outfit from head to foot and your needlepoint Fendi bag with your little Kitty looking up at you.........the whole thing is just so bizarre in the extreme

the young man at the NYC Berdorf Goodman, said that it was too bad i wasn't there today , it was just too much fun...no doubt.....One plus ...they were very polite at the 5Th Ave store on the phone...

well if I ever get hard up for work I guess I an always hang around NYC department stores and

pick up business........what a hoot...

while i was looking for info on this event on the web I came across Jimmy Choo's newest shoe....only 1245.00 this is also bizarre...just the thing to wear to the dollar store here in rural PA..............................sorry Fendi and Jimmy...but you are in a world of your own............

FYI...my husband just remarked that the less affluent could use some hoot couture at the local Dollar Store...ummmmmm maybe I will just have to get a plastic tote bag sign it and offer class on gluing a little needlepoint design...this is no more bizarre than the above and would be oh so much cheaper so you could get one kit for each of your friends.......scary !

I know shame one me....to be honest when a friend asked me if I had seen this offer, I laughed and thought she was kidding....and I wouldn't be surprised that the threads are cheap ( NOTICE HOW THEY DON'T SAY WHAT THREADS)....doesn't matter , I hardly believe anyone would buy this.....but then it said they were all sold out...!!!!!!!!!!!!
